January Highlights: A Spectacular Winter Recital at Performance Academy of Music

January was a month of musical brilliance at Performance Academy of Music, culminating in our Winter Student Recital on January 12th. This special event showcased the incredible dedication and progress of our students, featuring performances by beginner and intermediate piano players, as well as talented cello students and chamber ensembles.
A Night of Enchanting Performances
The recital was enriched by breathtaking faculty performances, beginning and concluding with Natalia Shchokina (violin), Tatiana Kubatina (piano) and Alexander Lazarev (piano), who delivered stunning classical performances, including Chardash by Monti and Melody by Skoryk. Their masterful renditions set the perfect tone for an evening filled with artistry and passion.
One of the standout moments of the evening highlight came when Ilia Zhilkin (drums) joined Alexander Lazarev for a thrilling performance of Believer by Imagine Dragons, filling the room with energy and excitement.
The beauty of classical music was further emphasized by Jenna Shepiotkina (cello), who gave a moving performance of The Swan by Saint-Saëns, leaving the audience in awe.
An Interactive and Artistic Experience
Beyond the recital itself, the event provided attendees with an interactive experience, where they had the opportunity to explore and try different musical instruments, guided by our expert instructors. This hands-on approach allowed aspiring musicians to spark new interests and discover the joy of playing music.
Adding an artistic dimension to the evening, Art Angel Academy provided amazing MasterClasses, allowing students and guests to channel their creativity and craft beautiful art pieces inspired by the music.
