Celebrating Success: Our May 16th Spring Recital
This exact philosophy is why our recent Spring Student Recital on Saturday, May 16th was such an absolute triumph for the Performance Academy of Music. Seeing these 12 benefits come to life in real-time was nothing short of magical across all of our instrumental programs.
Our piano instructors watched proudly as students demonstrated exceptional growth in sight-reading, improvisation, composition, and music theory. The stage came alive with variety, featuring everything from foundational Matthews violin lessons—where students excel using a traditional violin method, the Suzuki method, or a customized combination Suzuki-traditional method—to vibrant acoustic guitar lessons and high-energy electric guitar lessons.
We saw incredible bravery from those who recently started with an introductory guitar lesson, as well as young children utilizing ukulele lessons or ½-size guitar options tailored specifically to proper violin sizes for kids and younger players. From classical guitar arrangements to modern rock guitar solos, our students proved that a personalized learning experience yields fast results.
Our vocal department shone just as brightly, highlighting the incredible work of our voice teachers and voice coaches who provide premier voice lessons in Matthews and private voice lessons for all ages.
Whether it was violin lessons for beginners, piano lessons for kids, or comprehensive violin lessons for adults, the afternoon was a perfect testament to what a dedicated team effort can achieve.
