Valentyna Dorodko, born in Kyiv, Ukraine, graduated with honors in Piano from the Glier Kyiv Higher Music College and the Tchaikovsky National Music Academy of Ukraine. With over 30 years of teaching experience, she began her career as a piano teacher in 1995 and became deputy director for academic work in 2011, continuing her teaching alongside.
Valentyna combines advanced pedagogical methods with a deep understanding of child psychology, enabling her to tailor her teaching approach. Known for her discipline, creativity, and passion for music, she has guided many students to success in prestigious international competitions across Europe and the USA, such as “Amadeus” (Czech Republic), “Mozart” (Italy), “Valetta” (Malta), and ABRSM and Trinity exams. Many of her students have pursued successful careers in music.
She regularly serves as a jury member for international competitions and has authored numerous articles and teaching methodologies. Valentyna has also won international piano competitions and contributed to scientific conferences on music education. Her work has been recognized with honors, including certificates from the Department of Culture of Ukraine and the Kyiv Mayor, and the “Best Cultural Worker” award in 2018.
